Skin infectious diseases
A virus is also a cause of skin wide range of infectious diseases. The main infection that affects the skin is Staphylococcal infections. The most common skin infections that are caused by a virus called Herpes simplex viruses (HSV). Leprosy, carbuncles, staph infection, cellulitis, impetigo, boils, pilonidal cyst, and abscess are some of the infectious diseases that are caused by bacteria and fungus. Some of the bacteria and viruses also cause bacterial and fungal skin infections.
